"I met Maggie Athanasiadis in May when I visited the office to cancel our homeowners insurance following the sale of our family country house. I was due a refund, but I needed the payee information changed so the check would be issued in my name rather than to my deceased parents. Maggie was incredibly helpful, kind, and friendly throughout the process.
I especially appreciated her diligence and follow-up to ensure the refund check was processed exactly as I requested. She took the time to assist me even though I was technically no longer a customer. If I still lived in the area, I certainly would be.
Over the years, every person I interacted with in this office was pleasant, professional, and helpful. Based on my experiences, I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Port Jervis, NY area."

"Deceptive Practices and Horrible Customer Service
Avoid State Farm. They used bait-and-switch tactics on me not once, but twice. I was originally quoted a rate, only to find out after the fact that it required me to enroll in their invasive drive-tracking program—something they completely hid during the quote.
When I called to cancel out of frustration, the representative "fixed" it by adjusting my coverage to a rate I agreed to. I explicitly asked numerous times if the tracking program discount was completely removed, and she assured me it was. It wasn’t. They will lie straight to you just to lock you into a policy and try to force their tracking software on you. Absolutely terrible, untrustworthy customer service."
